Sports, Stars & Slime! First ever Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports announced in Australia

 Last week the nominees for the first ever Australia and New Zealand Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards were announced, Unleashing the ultimate, kid-powered celebration of sports, stars and slime.

Kids’ Choice Sports is an epic one-hour TV special that gives kids the power to decide the biggest sports stars from eleven uniquely unconventional categories.

THIS WILL NOT BE A TRADITIONAL AWARDS SHOW! There will be no black tie event, red carpet or boring speeches. Instead, the nominees will be celebrated and winners revealed in the exclusive, pre-taped programme airing on Monday, 20 November.

Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand today announces the superstar nominees in the first ever locally produced Kids’ Choice Sports Awards 2017, where Aussie and Kiwi kids have the power to vote for their sporting heroes.

Kids’ Choice Sports Awards is a six-week slime filled celebration of sports, stars, and more, premiering on Nickelodeon and the Nick Play app on Monday, 20th November at 5.30pm.

The nominees feature Aussie and Kiwi sporting favourites including: Daniel Ricciardo, Sam Kerr, Tim Cahill, Steph Gilmore, Matthew Dellavedova, Mick Fanning, Ellyse Perry, Dylan Alcott, The Barrett Brothers, Charlotte Caslick and more.

From today, kids will be able to cast their unlimited votes in a six-week period across eleven uniquely unconventional categories including #Hero, Hands of Gold, Sickest Moves and Clutch Player, among others.
