Princess Andre feels “a lot of pressure” to look “a certain way” because of social media.
The 16-year-old star – who is the daughter of Page 3 legend Katie Price and her former husband Peter Andre – has amassed more than one million followers across her various platforms but tries to show all of her fans that embracing “natural” beauty is the way forward despite the temptation to conform to the use of filters or following makeup trends.
She told OK! Magazine: “Nowadays, there’s a lot of pressure, but I try to embrace being natural on my page. I think that’s really important to show, especially to younger people and those who are trying to break into the industry.
“Young girls have so much pressure on them to look a certain way. I think it’s good to show them that loving yourself is more important than trying to be someone else. Loving yourself and being natural – it’s the way to go.
Princess was then asked if she has ever fallen victim to online trolling admitted that she has had to deal with it but “doesn’t let it bother [her]” because she is aware that she is not going to be liked by everyone so simply blocks and deletes those who write hurtful messages to her.
She said: “I do. I think everyone does. Trolls are everywhere but the best thing to do about it is just move on and ignore the comments. I don’t really let it bother me. If I see a comment, I’ll just take it on the chin. I think it’s good to have different opinions. You’re not going to be liked by everyone, so the only thing you can do if you don’t like it is just block and delete.
