We caught up with ‘Faking It’ and former Disney star Gregg Sulkin!

The 22-year-old actor has previously stared in in Disney’s ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’, ‘As the Bell Rings’, ‘Melissa and Joey’ and ‘Pretty Little Liars’.

He currently stars as ‘Liam Booker’ who plays Shane’s best friend in the MTV hit show ‘Faking It’!

‘Faking It’ is a romantic comedy series, where this season everyone is faced with a dilemma that forces them to tell the truth or keep a secret!

Best friends ‘Amy’, played by Rita Volk, and ‘Karma’, played by Katie Stevens, struggle with figuring out their relationship after ‘Amy’ revealed her true feelings for ‘Karma’.

The biggest question this season is will Karma find out about Liam, played by Gregg, and Amy’s hook-up?

Check out our interview with the MTV star below!

How did you keep up with all the drama season 1?
“To be honest, we block shoot episodes meaning we shoot two episodes back to back and out of order, so it’s hard to keep track of the drama sometimes. You have to be really on point with where your character is at that specific moment in time, so that is kind of hard.”

What can we expect from Season 2 of ‘Faking It’?
“There is a lot of guilt as you are going to see all the characters deal with the consequences of their actions. From Liam’s point of view, he has just slept with the love of his life’s best friend so that’s going to be quite hard to get out of.”

In the first episode you hang off the balcony shirtless, what was it like filming that?
“I’m so used to being shirtless on the show now that I think it is just part of my normal day of work. You just have to eat healthy and go to the gym a lot beforehand, and it’s funny on screen so I’m happy to add to the comedy.”

What was it like to spend most of your time on set with no shirt on?
“I think everyone is so used to me shirtless now that no one really cares anymore. They have stopped giving me a robe on set because they know I’m comfortable in my own skin. I was an athlete growing up, so I am used to being shirtless around people, in changing rooms, etc. To me it’s sort of normal and the crew and cast find it normal now as well.”

How do you manage to keep yourself in shape?
“Our schedule is tough because we shoot 12 hours a day sometimes and there is no time to get to the gym, so on those days you have to try and watch what you eat and try and remain as healthy as possible. You just have to do it, its part of the job!

What’s it like to play a character like Liam?
“I have had so much fun playing Liam. We are pretty much filming the last episode of season 2 right now and he seems to almost have everything figured out in life. As the storyline progresses you realize he has a pretty screwed up family life and the love of his life is now out of his hands. It’s been fun getting to play Liam and adding comedy to certain situations and being dramatic in others.”

Do you watch any other MTV series?
“No, unfortunately I don’t have the time to watch any with all the filming we do!”

Plans to come to Australia?
“I would love to, but because of my work schedule it’s a bit tough. If I ever have an opportunity to come for work then I would love to do that. We will see what happens over the next few months!”

You have two new projects coming up ‘Don’t Hang Up’ and ‘Anti-Social’… Can you tell us a bit about them?
“I love doing the show, but I also find it important to go off and do movies as well and I think both of those movies have big potential. “Don’t Hang Up” is a horror movie, my first horror movie, and it’s about two best friends who prank people. One of the pranks goes terribly wrong and somebody comes back for revenge. It was one of the most rewarding shoots I have ever done! In my other movie “Anti-Social,” I get to play a kid who is on the wrong side of the tracks. He has to help his brother get out of a lot of trouble and ends up getting pulled into a bank robbery. They are both two very different projects and very different roles that I am not well known for doing, so I’m excited for people to see that.”

‘Faking It’ Season 2 premieres Monday 9th February @ 8.30pm on MTV, Foxtel Channel 124
