Lincoln Lewis Can’t Wait To Get Back On Set!
After a tumul-tuous couple of years, the acting front has been quiet for actor Lincoln Lewis, but things are looking up.
Shooting to fame on Home And Away, Lewis has a role in the film, Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan, which premieres on August 8.
He features alongside Travis Fimmel, Daniel Webber, Luke Bracey and Richard Roxburgh in the war film about young and inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers who are forced to hold off an army of 2500 enemy soldiers.
“Working on that was amazing,” he said. “We’d get on set from 4am, go get all the gear, get your gun. You go to the armourer and sign your gun out and you’ve got that for the day. There was one day where we were charging through all this long grass … for hours and hours going back and forward.
“There were rain machines, gunfights and explosions. It was just incredible.”
Lewis, 31, said he just wanted to be back on set doing what he loves.
“To be honest, the last 18 months or 2 years have been a bit slower,” he told Confidential at the Montblanc launch of new fragrance, Explorer.
“I know what it’s like to not work and I’m trying to stay fresh and do classes.”
