It has been a very crazy year indeed. I remember shooting this at the end of January in Adelaide, South Australia, feeling so grateful to be shooting in a part of my country that hadn’t been devastated by fires. Now we are in a different type of crisis, but seeing these photos reminded me of how much love I have for my country. Also, I want to drive this point home to my fellow Australians. PLEASE STAY HOME. Please take this seriously. We have enough work to do to help rebuild our country after the horrific wildfires. We need each other. Follow in the footsteps of the rest of the world. The beach will still be there after all of this. Stay home for one another, for our immune compromised, for our elders, for ourselves. We overcame one heartbreaking disaster this year. We showed the world our resilience and our strength. Let’s apply those same values again, and stay home ♥️ Also; love to you @smithclaudia badass female photographer 👏 @r.m.williams_official
