Lindsay Lohan is devastated Channel 10 did not consider all their options to bring her to Australia to film The Masked Singer.
The American actress was reportedly replaced by New Zealand comedian Urzila Carlson without them going to any efforts to try and bring the Mean Girls star Down Under.
A source tells Hollywood Treatment, the network did not want to fork out unnecessary costs to house Lindsay at a five-star hotel and then have to deal with all the same antics as last year.
“She’s devastated – a few phone calls and promises were made to try and help bring her but they didn’t consider all their options.”
The news comes as it was revealed stars including Hollywood actors Melissa McCarthy, Jane Seymour, Awkwafina and Michael Shannon were recently able to land in Australia for productions.
Had Warner Brothers done the same, they would have allowed plenty of time for production.
Back in April, it was reported the 33-year-old actress was been looking at luxury rental apartments in Melbourne’s luxury suburb of Toorak.
After not having any privacy last year – she doesn’t want to be trapped inside a hotel.
At the time, a spokesman for the star confirmed that Lindsay was indeed looking at properties.
Hollywood Treatment has reached out to Lohan for comment.
