Selena Gomez is “comfortable being single”.

The 28-year-old singer – who previously dated Justin Bieber and The Weeknd – is currently focusing “on what makes her happy” and isn’t “rushing” into a new romance for the time being.

A source said: “She is comfortable dating, but also comfortable being single. She’s not rushing into anything whatsoever.”

The brunette beauty has recently been linked to NBA star Jimmy Butler, but she’s determined to keep “her options open”.

The insider told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Selena has enjoyed hanging out with Jimmy, but she is keeping her options open in terms of guys.”

At the moment, though, Selena is keen to focus on the things that make her happy.

The source explained: “Selena is focusing on what makes her happy and what feels good to her – whether that’s a relationship or not.”

Despite this, the ‘Wolves’ hitmaker is clear about what she’s looking for in her next boyfriend.

The source added: “The qualities that stand out to her in terms of a potential boyfriend are confident, supportive, smart, funny, trustworthy, and reliable.”

Meanwhile, the chart-topping star recently revealed she’s been “binge-watching” ‘Selena: The Series’.

The Netflix drama documents the rise of Selena Quintanilla – the music star who was murdered in March 1995 – and she’s admitted to being obsessed with the show.

Selena said on her Instagram Story: “I have been binge-watching the Selena series on Netflix. It’s so good. She’s such an inspiration. I was named after her and it’s unbelievable.”

She also recommended ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ to her social media followers.

The hit Netflix drama – which stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Harry Melling – tells the story of an orphaned chess prodigy who seeks to become the best player in the world.
