Perrie Edwards reveals lockdown blues

Perrie Edwards has admitted she “feels like utter s***” during lockdown.

The Little Mix star – who is in a relationship with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – revealed she is “missing” performing on stage with the band as the UK is going through more coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

Writing on her Instagram Story, she said: “Feeling like utter s*** wishing I had @DaniellePeazer to come and drag me out of bed on a morning.

“All I do is eat atm. I wanna get back on it but I cantttttttttt. I have zero motivation! I miss being active.

“I miss workin out with Danielle and Ellie. I miss dancing. I miss being on stage. I miss the fans. F*** sakes man. (sic)”

The 27-year-old singer’s comments come less than a week after she left fans confused with an apparent solo project.

She removed any reference to Little Mix from her Instagram bio, and instead replaced it with a link to wearediscora.com.

Clicking on the link takes fans to a website which simply features the word “Disora” and “Coming soon… 2021” underneath.

Last month, Little Mix fans were stunned when Jesy Nelson revealed she was stepping away from the girl group after nine years.

She said in her statement: “The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.

“There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focussing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process.

“So after much consideration and with a heavy heart, I’m announcing I’m leaving Little Mix.”

And confirming the news just moments after Jesy’s post, Little Mix – now comprised of Perrie, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall – said in a statement: “After an amazing 9 years together Jesy has made the decision to leave Little Mix. This is an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy.”
