Harry Styles loves Olivia Wilde's independence

Harry Styles fell for Olivia Wilde’s “independent nature”.

The One Direction star met the actress and filmmaker on the set of their movie ‘Don’t Worry Darling’, and they have reportedly started up a romance.

Speaking to Us Weekly, a source said: “Harry likes that Olivia is so driven and confident and smart. Her intelligence and independent nature were the first things that drew him to her.”

It comes after it was claimed Harry and Olivia were spotted holding hands whilst at a friend’s wedding over the weekend, and the pair have actually been dating for “a few weeks”.

An insider said: “They were in Montecito this weekend for a wedding. They were affectionate around their friends, held hands and looked very happy. They have dated for a few weeks.”

And their friendship was said to have “quickly turned romantic”.

An insider added: “What started out as a close friendship, quickly turned romantic. Everyone saw it coming. During breaks, he hasn’t been able to stay away and visited her trailer.”

Olivia split from Jason Sudeikis last year but he is hopeful about “repairing things” with Olivia.

A source said of the former couple: “He is absolutely heartbroken about the split.

“There is still a lot of love there, and he would like to have hope that maybe there’s a way for them to repair things. But what happens next remains to be seen.”

Before Harry was romantically linked to Olivia, a source claimed he has adopted a “go-with-the-flow attitude” towards his love life but is open to finding someone special.

The insider said: “He’s got some options in the pipeline in terms of who he’d like to date under the right circumstances, but nothing intense or formal. He’s in no hurry at all. It’s a genuine, go-with-the-flow attitude, although it goes without saying he certainly won’t be single forever.”
