Jamie Lynn Spears devastated over cat deaths

Jamie Lynn Spears has called Tesla a “secret cat killer”.

The 29-year-old actress and singer revealed her daughter’s pet had been run over by an electric car and said other animals had met the same fate.

She explained in an Instagram Story: “I know there’s bigger things to worry about in the world right now, but someone’s got to let Elon Musk know that the Tesla is a secret cat killer. And it’s a problem, we’ve really got to fix. We have, now, lost, I don’t even want to tell you how many cats because they don’t hear the Tesla Crank and unfortunate things happen. And it’s really devastating and tragic for everyone involved.

“So, since Tesla is so quiet, maybe, he could, like, make one of those noises that bother cat or animal ears when it cranks up, so that way they know something’s happening and they aren’t caught off guard. And, things don’t end in a very tragic way.”

Jamie Lynn then appealed directly to Tesla’s founder Elon Musk, saying: “Elon Musk, let’s figure this out. I mean, you owe me a couple cats. Yes, I am fully aware that there’s some user error involved in this, but I’m just saying, you know, let’s collaborate to save some cats’ lives.”

Jamie Lynn later updated her Instagram post to insist she wasn’t blaming Tesla, saying: “I did not run over any cats. Tesla is not to be blamed and was never intended to be. User error is admittedly involved. We always check for animals before moving a vehicle. I was only making a suggestion about something I think would be extremely helpful and the geniuses @teslamotors are the best to go to for said issue.”

Jamie has two-year-old daughter Ivey with husband Jamie Watson and 12-year-old daughter Maddie, with ex Casey Aldridge.
