Troye Sivan & Ansel Elgort step out for day of Tennis & Music
Aussie pop singer Troye Sivan was all smiles as he joined the massive line up of stars for 2016 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day.
Held at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City.
The 21-year-old musician joined Joining Olympic swimmer Simone Manuel, actor Ansel Elgort and Flo Rida at the annual event, which kicks off the US Open festivities.
“Anything that ignites and encourages passion within young people is something I’m into — whether tennis, or music,” said Troye Sivan. “It’s so rewarding to see the kids enjoy themselves and also know that we’re keeping the memory of Arthur Ashe alive.”
As the largest single-day grassroots tennis and entertainment event in the world, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day combines sports and music in a production that has grown immensely over the years.
During the event, Ansel jumped in on a hip-hop group’s performance and showed off his own break dance moves.
This year’s event also saw appearances from Laura Marano, Jordan Fisher, along with tennis talents Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal.
