Emma Bunton and Jade Jones are 'always broody'

Emma Bunton and her partner are “always broody”.

The Spice Girls star and her man – who already have sons Beau, 13, and Tate, 10, together – have both thought about adding to their brood, and the 45-year-old singer admitted they would be happy to have another kid.

Appearing on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she said: “I’m always, always broody! Jade, he would have lots more children. I think we are at the stage where we are very much like, if it happens it would be amazing.

“But both my children, it wasn’t easy falling pregnant so we’ll just see how it goes. But we’re always broody, both of us!”

And Emma revealed she was moved to tears by Jade’s contribution to her new book ‘Mama You Got This’.

She added; “Actually, his piece in this book made me cry because he’s so honest. He’s saying how those first couple of weeks, months, when you’re breastfeeding – it’s a very close moment for the mum and baby.

“And he’s written this whole paragraph of how he had to step back even though he just wanted to do everything. He was so wonderful because he looked after me, he took care of me and then was just there every second of every minute and he’s brilliant.”

Earlier this month, Emma admitted she’s worried it could already be too late for her to conceive naturally, because she is now perimenopausal.

Describing the symptoms of perimenopause – which is the body’s natural transition towards the menopause – she said: “I started to feel unbalanced and anxious. At first I put it down to the pandemic. But then the anxiety became more regular, until it was daily.

“I was also lethargic. Something wasn’t right. I looked up the symptoms and saw I had quite a few.

“So I spoke to someone on Zoom who came to the same conclusion. I was perimenopausal.”
